It was time for an animation so we decided to discover 2001’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire. This movie was super different for Disney at this time! However, you could argue that the things we don’t see coming can end up being the best things to ever happen to us. I don’t think Michael Oher and The Tuohy Family ever expected to cross paths, but 2009’s The Blind Side shows how it all came to be. Is this biographical drama an accurate portrayal or could it have done a better job telling Michael’s unbelievable journey?

I know you all have instincts that keep you alive. But sometimes to survive, we must become more than we were programmed to be.
There are so many powerful emotions and life lessons within this animation. I guess that’s exactly why The Wild Robot was nominated for an Oscar. This book to film adaptation seems to be original, but we can’t help but wonder if it’s just a copy cat of prior robot movies? Get the popcorn (and the tissues) ready and let us know what you think!
